Superman - Persuasive/Propaganda Essay

I wrote this paper last semester when I had to retake a LIT 101 class when I transferred school. I was a super senior in a class full of freshmen. We were suppose to write either a persuasive or a propaganda essay on any topic we want to write about. I decided to write a speech from the point of view of Superman's arch nemesis. You can decide whether I wrote a persuasive or a propaganda piece.

Now that's what im talking about! Finally something I can really relate too. Chow did you know I work for the largest comic book distributer in the country? I design toy packaging for Marvel and hasbro, and some others. Now im not a big DC fan, but Superman is one of my favorites. To answer your question im guessing Propaganda, Lex always has a cause to promote right? I found one thing confusing, all this talk of Superman invading our lives, he only assumes the form of Superman when is needed, otherwise he prefers to remain a "man" and not use his powers, his guise is clark, a regular man. He doesn't boast or force himself on the people at all. I do see how the essay is written from lex's POV so it makes sense. If you are really ganna hate on a super hero hate on Batman, he's the worst, stupid rich jerk!

I know that this essay is a well-written and well-structured essay, but looking on a critical view, Luthor is the smart guy who found out Kryptonite and stuff. But would that smart guy actually use the word "till" a lot? I can't even imagining him actually writing that onto a piece of paper. And this parasite thing, it's like too repetitive. It's a great idea, but even in normal formal writing, too much repetition is not a good method, because the readers, who read your idea a million times, can get bored of it. Like they might say, "Where the heck is the creativeness in this?" And etc. All in all, I must admit to this essay as an exceptionally "POV-Like" essay, but the parasite idea's complete repetition, is a dead no-no. See? I'm repeating the parasite idea repetition criticism a lot, which by now, you'll probably be like "Oh for the love of Pete, when is he going to stop?" Remember, there are many ways to emphasize some writing points than repetition.
